Deltassist is proud to announce the launching of the
Deltassist Family and Community Services
Bursary
in partnership with the Kwantlen University College Foundation.
The bursary fund has begun with a $10,000 contribution from Deltassist matched by the Kwantlen University College Foundation to create a $20,000 fund. Each year, a bursary will be granted to a deserving student intending on pursuing studies in the Faculty of Community and Health Studies at Kwantlen.
Deltassist is
proud to partner with the Foundation in introducing the Deltassist Family and
Community Services Bursary
as a unique and powerful way of supporting the community in addition to ensuring that well trained professionals are available to work in community-based organizations like Deltassist.

What a great Day, the rain stayed away as the 17 enthusiastic Deltassist Volunteers decorated the “love bug” and HandyDART bus.
A great job of decorating and our “Happy Birthday” banner was rewarded with a ribbon from the judging committee.
Staff and volunteers carried the Deltassist banner. Together, we let the community know that Deltassist continues to provide services today as we have for the past 35 years.
Board members, staff, volunteers and the Executive team joined in and took part in a rewarding event. The Deltassist team was well received by the crowds who lined the streets.
Thanks Deltassist volunteers for participating in this family days event.
Together we can make a difference.

June 15 each year is marked as an opportunity to raise awareness and to discuss the issue of abuse of older adults. Whether we identify the mistreatment and neglect as senior abuse or elder abuse the effects are the same.
